Prospective Athletes

Team Run Eugene currently is accepting prospective athlete applications.  We are looking for athletes who are committed to athletic excellence and who have a sincere commitment to helping promote running in our community. Athletes who do not meet these standards but believe their circumstances and/or skill set merits special consideration are encouraged to apply.

TRE Elite Performance Standards:

Athletes on Team Run Eugene who have met our time standards will receive (subject to change as new benefits are added):

  • Coaching
  • Physical Therapy courtesy of Cooperative Performance & Rehabilitation, LLC
  • Running Assessments courtesy of University of Oregon Motion Analysis Laboratory
  • Massage Therapy
  • Pro-bono Sports Medicine/Orthopedic consultation via Slocum Orthopedics
  • Discounted Dental courtesy of Lonn Robertson, DMD
  • Access to ElliptiGO for cross-training
  • Footwear and apparel assist courtesy of Eugene Running Company and TRE
  • GPS assisted training powered by Garmin
  • Coverage of professional dues (i.e. USATF)
  • Race entry and travel expenses as funding permits
  • Assistance in finding part-time job

Our Commitment to the Eugene Community
TRE is unique in that athletes actively spend time promoting running as part of a healthy lifestyle in our community. This can be done in a number of ways, at both the youth and adult levels. TRE athletes have the opportunity to develop valuable post-running professional skills in this way in addition to having a positive impact on our community
