A 2010 graduate of Monroe-Woodbury High School in Central Valley, New York, Megan focused on the middle-distances for most of her high school career, winning a state title in the 1500m and All-American honors in the 800m.  She qualified for the indoor and outdoor NYS meet all four years of high school, in events ranging from the 300m to the 1500m.  After playing soccer during the Fall for much of high school, she joined her cross-country team her senior year, placing 10th at the NYS Class A meet.

For college, Megan moved out to Eugene to attend the University of Oregon and run track and cross-country for the Ducks.  As a Duck, she ran events ranging from the 1500m to 5000m on the track, including the 3000m steeplechase.  She has been a part of several team titles within the Pac-12 and the NCAA.  Megan has competed in the NCAA meet in the 3000m steeplechase, the indoor 3000m and DMR, and cross-country.  She graduated from the UO in 2014 with a B.S. in Human Physiology, and has chosen to continue her running career in Eugene.

Megan joined TRE in the Fall of 2015, and qualified for her first Olympic Trials in 2016, running the 3000m Steeplechase. Outside of training, she spends time coaching young runners with Emerald Valley Track Club, as well as local Special Olympics and Girls on the Run teams
