Kimber’s diverse athletic background has led her to run the steeplechase in track, and, more recently, to compete in trail and obstacle course racing. While completing her BA in Exercise Science at Willamette University, she earned multiple track and cross country honors. She went on to earn All-American honors in the steeplechase while completing her MS in Human Physiology at the University of Oregon. As a post-collegiate athlete, Kimber has competed at USATF Track Nationals twice in the steeplechase. In 2014 she ventured into the trail and obstacle course racing scene. Her season includes winning the Warrior Dash World Championship and the XTERRA Trail Run World Championship. Kimber plans to continue to compete at the World and National level in track, trail, mountain, and obstacle course racing.
In addition to training, Kimber coaches Track and Cross Country and teaches Human Physiology classes at the University of Oregon. As a professional athlete, coach, teacher, and exercise physiologist, Kimber enjoys using her knowledge and experience to help her maximize her athletic potential, while also supporting and educating the community to help them achieve their health, fitness, and athletic goals.
