Kimber Mattox

Kimber Mattox
Kimber is a former Team Run Eugene athlete who now serves as the Strength Coach for TRE. As an athlete, Kimber won the 2014 and 2015 Xterra Trail Run World Championships and the 2014 Warrior Dash World Championship. In 2015, she also won the USATF Trail Half Marathon National Championship and helped lead the US Mountain Running Team to a silver medal at the Mountain Running World Championships. On the track, Kimber was a three time USATF National Championship competitor in the steeplechase and an All-American for the Ducks in 2012.

Kimber is an instructor in the Department of Human Physiology and a volunteer assistant coach for track and cross country at the University of Oregon. She has also served as a strength coach in a variety of settings. Kimber has a Master’s degree in Human Physiology and her expertise is in injury prevention, strength training, and sports performance.
