DJ Flores

DJ is a former NAIA All-American for Eastern Oregon University.  While at EOU, DJ set 5 school records, including the indoor/outdoor 5k, mile, 1500m, and was part of the indoor 4x400m school record that also included current TRE teammate Hans Roelle. His outdoor 5k school record only stood for 4 years due to another TRE teammate, Isaac Updike, breaking it in the 2015 season. Although DJ did not run as well as he wanted to in college, due to taking time off and battling injuries, he is still motivated more than ever. He has dreams of hitting USATF qualifiers in the 1500m/5000m/10000m.
Prior to attending EOU, DJ was a 4-sport athlete in high school. He played football, ran cross country, wrestled, and ran track. He mainly got into playing sports because of his older brother who ran a 10.7 and 21.7 in both the 100 and 200.

Outside of running DJ enjoys playing other sports and teaching himself how to play the guitar and piano. DJ has always had a passion for helping others, especially the ones who are less fortunate than others. He can’t wait to get involved in the Eugene community.
