Jordyn Smith and Ian Cronin Featured on “Preparing for the Best”

Team Run Eugene athletes Jordyn Smith and Ian Cronin were both featured in an on-line video interview for “Preparing for the Best,” on www.gotracktownusa.com. “Preparing for the Best” is an on-line series featuring Olympic Trials hopefuls as they prepare for this summers event here in Eugene.

Smith and Cronin are both shooting for qualifying marks in the 1500m for the Olympic trials being held June 22- July 1st. Previous blog entries have included interviews with Heather Kampf and Olympians Ian Dobson and Leo Manzano.

You can catch Ian Cronin in action this weekend at the Oregon Twilight Meet. Cronin will be running the 1500m and is coming off a season opening 3:45.23 at the Payton Jordan Invitational last weekend. The meet begins at 4PM PST Saturday (May 5) and the men’s 1500m is set to go off at 7:10 PM. Click here for a full schedule.
